Hard to believe were getting to the end of the Summer. Crowds have been picking up and I expect that will continue until the start of most schools. Cedar Point packed them in last Saturday. One of the biggest crowds I have seen in a long long time. Main lot was full and the Soak City lot was pretty much to capacity.
It's getting close to Halloweekends. Just about a month away. Cedar Point's website now shows the schedule of events and attractions happening this year. There is a new parade that will be happening. Looking forward to the events. Look for us to cover that pretty heavy this year.
Cedar Point launches a new webcam.....kind of. Alright, I have to be a critic on this one. The new web cam is in the position that the old web cam was on the Skyride. It's a new cam in an old location. One of the reasons it hasn't been mounted some place else is due to the hookup problems. Cedar Point, geez, can build a million dollar coaster but can't get a couple wireless repeaters to hook up a cam. I think most folks will think the new cam is cool. Die hard fans will be less than thrilled. More cams are coming so lets hope for the best.
If you don't want to miss some of the live entertainment better visit soon. Most of the summer live entertainment ends before then end of August. Some of these shows are fantastic so don't miss them.
